Danielle has appreciated and practiced art since childhood, and is an amateur artist herself who dabbles in drawing and photography. She worked in interior design before she and her husband took over the bookstore in Fulton, Well Read Books, in 2012, and opened Court Street Custom Framing in 2014.
It was during this time she became actively involved in the Brick District, where she worked with others to conceive of Art House and became the founding director. Danielle continues to serve as Art House Board Treasurer and oversees operations, helps to plan Callaway Plein Air and Autumn on the Bricks, and is on the gallery committee that plans the exhibits.
Danielle loves coming to work in the frame shop every day because she gets to be in the gallery surrounded by art and interacting with the artists, the art-loving visitors, and the wonderful volunteers who work here. She is proud of how the gallery has been able to share our talented local artists’ work with the public.
