Fulton’s Historic Brick District will experience its annual autumn celebration with “Art on the Bricks” September 21—22.
The weekend starts off with an opening reception for Art House’s Autumn Exhibit. The reception will be from 5:00—7:00pm at the Art House.
Immediately following, stroll up to the Brick District Playhouse and kick up your heels to local stomp grass band, The Kay Brothers. Quench your hunger and thirst with yummy eats and craft cocktails! Don’t miss this opportunity to see the progress of the historic theater’s renovation and enjoy a wonderful evening of live entertainment.
On Saturday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Court Street between 5th and 6th Streets will be alive with activity as the local community and visitors celebrate Art on the Bricks. This year’s event is focused on bringing together the finest, and often award-winning, high-quality artisans and makers* who create, make, source, and grow the products they sell, which ensures their goods are unique, original and designed to inspire. (*This is a juried event. Scroll down for artist information below.)
In addition, enjoy an expanded Farmers Market and pumpkin patch, and live music. Munch on exciting breakfast and lunch offerings and sip craft beers, wines and spirits. Bring the kids and enjoy the festivities! Admittance to the festival is free.
“Art on the Bricks is the winning combination of art, music, local cuisine and a beautiful autumn day. Art House volunteers have been working overtime recruiting regional artists and artisans, as well as local specialty crop producers to make this year’s Art on the Bricks the best ever. I love that my community is filled with people who are passionate about what they create and believe in and have fun in the process. It is events like this one that make me proud to be a part of this unique area,” states Jane Mudd, Art House Director and local artist.
See you on the Bricks!
