Fulton’s Historic Brick District will experience its annual Fall celebration with “Autumn on the Bricks” October 13 and 14. Once again, Art House is pleased to partner with the new Brick District Playhouse to expand the event across two days instead of one!
On Saturday, from 10:00am to 5:00pm, Court Street between 5th and 6th Streets will be alive with activity as the local community and visitors celebrate the local bounty. In addition to an expanded Farmers Market and pumpkin patch, there will be booths featuring original works of fine art, art demonstrations by Best of Missouri Hands artists, artisanal foods, local wines and craft beers. Live music will fill the streets throughout the day. Bring the kids and enjoy the festivities! Admittance to the festival is free; however tastings of craft beers, local wines and distilleries will be available for purchase. All food on the menu will be from local producers, focusing on specialty crops and producers from local sources. Food booths will open for breakfast at 8:30am, then transition to a lunch and tasting menu for the rest of the day.

Art House volunteers have been working overtime recruiting regional artists and artisans, as well as local specialty crop producers to make this year’s Autumn on the Bricks the best ever. I love that my community is filled with people who are passionate about what they create and believe in and have fun in the process. It is events like this one that make me proud to be a part of this unique area,” states Jane Mudd, Art House Director and local artist.

CHECK IN INFORMATION FOR VENDORS AND ARTISTS:
On Saturday October 14, artists and vendors will start arriving for set up as early as 7:30 am. There will be Art House Volunteers standing by at the intersection of 6th Street and Court Street to check you in and direct you to your booth space. All artists and vendors need to be set up and vehicles off the street by 9:30 am. We start at 10 am, but no liquor can be poured until noon.
The booth spaces will be numbered and correspond with the number of spaces on Court Street between 6th and 5th. We will ask that you pull up to your designated space to unload and then go park your car. We will have volunteers on hand that can assist in your setup. We will have volunteers from a Westminster Fraternity to help do heavy lifting.
Art House Volunteers will be making the rounds all day to check on you to see if you need them to sit at your booth for you so you can take a break or have any other needs.
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS :
Ceramics, drawing, digital art, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, pastels, photography, printmaking, sculpture. Limited edition prints are acceptable but must be signed and numbered by the artist and clearly marked as reproductions.
Fee for a 10’x10’ booth space is $50. This booth space fee is the same for producers and artists. We encourage artists to demonstrate and producers to sample their wares. The non-refundable entry fee is payable once your work is juried into the event. After you are juried* into the show, the curator will email payment information along with your welcome letter. *Note: Art House artists and artists who have previously been juried into the Best of Missouri Hands do not need to go through the jury process for AOTB, and are automatically accepted into Autumn on the Bricks event upon Art House’s receipt of artist’s booth fee and completed registration form.
All proceeds from artist booth sales go to the artists. Artist demonstrations are encouraged but not required. We would like demonstrations and plein air artists working throughout the festival grounds and Farmers Market areas. This is a juried event, open to artists 18 years of age and older. Original work only, no mass-produced items, items made from molds, kits or other commercial methods. Artists who have been juried into Art House, and currently exhibit there under a current consignment agreement need to fill out this entry form but need not submit digital images for the Jury Committee.
Other artists must submit a completed registration form and email at least three high quality digital images and optional booth image to: firstname.lastname@example.org . Be sure to put Autumn on the Bricks or AOTB in the subject line of your email.
